The twins day out

This weekend, Dad took all the boys except the twins on a camping trip. So Saturday, Mom took JoJo, Ben and me to the zoo.

We started off with breakfast at McDonalds.

Then we arrived at the zoo

When this peacock squawked JoJo started crying...

...but when this monkey saw Joseph by the window, and came down and tried to attack him, JoJo was fine. He just backed away and looked at it.

I thought it was cute how they just leaned on the ledge and watched the animals.

They weren't so sure about the train at first, but when we got on, they really liked it.

After the zoo, we stopped at Sam's club for lunch and to do some shopping.

We caught an owl!

An owl got into our chicken coop on Wednesday. It ended up getting into the fenced in area through the chicken door. It was stuck there all day until our neighbor came over to help us get rid of it. This is what ended up happening... Timothy crawled through the chicken door and caught the owl under a garbage can lid, got a good hold of it, then let it through an opening in the fence. The neighbors made a big fuss about how amazing Timothy is to go on and do that. Timothy doesn't think it was that big of a deal. It was fun to watch though. I wish I would have gotten it on video.
